Bly Canyon in a wide section. There
were other sections which were slots.
Jeanette climbing down one of the dryfalls
in Bly Canyon. The pool below the dryfall looked
like it would be full in a wet year, and
make it a much more challenging passage.
Dead rodent in Bly Canyon. The canyon
floor was literally carpeted with small bones from
raptors and owls carrying prey to a nook
in the canyon wall for consumption. There were many owl pellets.
Flowers in a cheatgrass sea. The
valley floor had a thick carpet of cheatgrass
soon to be mature.
